  • One of the best whites I've had in a while, this wine has it all, mineral, floral and range of orchard fruits. Excellent balance and structure; spicy unctuous finish.

  • Surprisingly for its age, quite focussed and flavorful to drink. Very pale straw yellow, interesting tension between the Chardonnay and the Traminer, a little bitternes on the finish. Very nice.

  • No detailed notes. Drank in VT, this was a favorite of the group in terms of whites opened.

  • Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewurztraminer blend.
Medium gold color. Nose: Orchard fruit, stones, white flowers. Medium-to-full bodied and dry. Driven by the Chardonnay but not in a disturbing way like many Chard. blends are. The expression of each varietal is present. Golden delicious apples, warm summer flowers, wonderful minerality. Very nice acidity. Fabulous finish. 14% alco (D 6.5, F 6.5; Natl., Wine Bow)

  • This wine is a lovely golden color with a light hue of green at the core, the nose smells of brine, pineapples, and a light hint of lemon. The body is immediately present in the mouth as this medium to full bodied wine takes over the mouth with strong flavors of Pineapple, ginger, lemon, and a light honey water at the tail end. The 14% alcohol is very obvious in this wine as it fleshes out and gets a tad hot on the back end of the finish. As the wine sits in the glass the nose is opening up to reveal light scents of toasted oak and candied bananas.

Served beside a dish of pasta, butter, tarragon, and a heavy dose of garlic, this wine is plush, refreshing, and easy to drink. While not a wine I would consume often, or even more than a few bottles from time to time. Those who love Chardonnay and looking to try something different need to check out this example of a grape that is all too often over done.
