Three hour decant. Deep dark magenta color. Blackberry, stewed plum, cotton candy, flax seed bread, rose petal, milk chocolate, and lemon zest. Smooth, dry, full bodied palate, with engaging, tongue coating acidity. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
This has really opened up since I tasted it at the winery almost 18 months ago. Great complexity. Looking forward to see how this develops.
At the time of tasting this bottle and the other reds had been open for around 7 hours. Second red wine is the 2018 Stone Place which has been aged for 20 months in 90% new French oak. Deep purplish red. Tons of baking spices on the attack of the nose with vanilla and cinnamon, followed up by lavender and cassis. A touch of green in the undertone. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) with a full body. Smooth and well rounded with blackberries and light spices. Long finish. Drink till 2035.

Five or six hour slow ox. Very deep dark magenta color. Fresh black cherry, graham cracker, pistachio, and coffee grounds on the nose. Very smooth, tongue drying palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
This is too young to really judge, but the nuts and bolts of a great wine are there. The score is based on potential and will likely be even better with time and air.
