Very floral nose. Subtle at first, but builds into a jazzy finish. Some saline and peach notes. Flowers Chardonnay or Pinot Noir is always a good choice. Paired with fresh, live New Hampshire lobster.

A pricey gem of a wine which is not really not style of choice in a chardonnay. Quite expressive nose of lemon and perhaps citrus to the point where I re-checked bottle to make sure it was a Chard. Steel feeling start which leads to more lemon, and the tiniest of cedar wood. Finish is acidic and notable for its length. Still young and worth aging for another 1-2 years. Should resolve better.

Retail $38. Heavy bottle. Under DIAM10. My wife was not feeling well, so she suggested that her three boys (my two sons and me) head out to a relatively new local restaurant that has a limited menu, but a decent wine program. OK! I opted for this bottle of Flowers Chard; the sparkling wines were less than compelling and since it was another 90°+ day here in Houston, I was not feeling a red. Flowers has long been a favorite of mine (even after the sale) and this is an example why. Yellow (if not golden) in the glass with a rich nose of lemon curd, acacia flower, and a bit of oak. The palate is quite fantastic, with that rich fruit, a clingy acidity, and a lengthy finish. OK. Whoa.
pale green-gold;lime; with herbal (dried tarragon) notes mixing with a little oaky vanilla on the nose; oak wins on the palate, enough acidity for me, SB drinkers may think not; full bodied with a sense of heaviness on the mid to end palate; finish is faster than expected given the palate "weight"

Three hour slow ox. One hour in fridge before serving. Pale golden color. Peach, pear, lemon curd, and toast on the nose. Dry, creamy palate. Very easy drinking, somewhat classic Sonoma Coast Chard.

Assertive vanilla honey aroma. Soft buttery honey vanilla across the palate. To my taste a semisweet dessert wine, cloying and boring. Ordered by my dinner companion who gulped glass after glass with pleasure.
Pale yellow in color. Medium level of melon and honey on the nose. Subtle honeydew flavors with crisp acidity and a creamy finish. Well rounded and light on oak.

A little advanced in color but no taste of oxidation. Citrus forward. Full bodied but bright and pleasing.

Pear and apple notes on the nose and palate. Minimal oak, but fullness of texture. Moderate to low acidity Very pleasant alone or with food.
