Drinking in the cold winter, the temperature of the wine is lower than the last time, it feels very refreshing. Black cherry, citrus. The taste is smooth and somewhat creamy. Smooth flavors of strawberry and vanilla. Refreshing and balanced finish.

Light watermelon on the orange side with a moderate amount of medium bubbles. Nose is just saline and toast. There was a bit of fruit upon pouring, but faded away after a few minutes. A nice uplifting fizz on the entry, medium high acidity, and fairy simple. Palate is very light with green apple, lemon, and bing cherries. A bit of a tannic grip is present. Medium-long finish with saline, chalk, white toast, and a hint of marmalade.
This is a by-the-numbers Cali bubbly rose. A bit more fruit came out after a few minutes, but not enough to change my note. Rather disappointed at $16 a bottle - both the Gloria Ferrer and Mumm Napa Brut Roses are around the same price and often much better than this.

Pale pink. Light intensity aroma of melon. Off dry, high acidity, medium alcohol. Medium body. Light intensity flavour of raspberry, sour candy, lemon. Short finish.

Blush, if that. Undefined on the palate, mineral, yeast, dry fruit, some blah aftertaste. Chandon sparklers are usually worth their price, this rose with the fancy label disappoints.

The Sixth Annual World's Largest Blind Tasting of American Sparkling Wine (Houston, Texas): Retail $27. 57% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, 3% Pinot Meunier. A bit dirty, even funky on the nose (a touch of sulfur). The palate is rather austere, almost on the verge of bitter with fruit a bit lacking. Still, Very Good. 89 Points.

Do not sabre, there is something off about the pressure or the glass (in my bottle at least).

The note below describes it well for us. Very enjoyable over three nights — and indeed, holding up very well over that time.

Nice. Pale pink in the glass. Yeasty nose, fine bubbles, a little minerally on the taste and finish.

Nice color. Bright lemons, cherries and minerals. Dry and fresh. Slightly bitter aftertaste, good acidity. Nothing complicated. It's a suitable summer cold drink.

A bit too sweet and simple for my tastes, but enjoyable nonetheless. We had it with asparagus quiche, and it held up, so there's that.
