Fruits rouges, acidité +, tannins présents mais agréable, peu de chaleur en fin de bouche, l'ensemble commence a se placer et le fruit est en avant plan. Un très bon rosso qui sera dans son apogée d'ici deux ans. Délicieux

That's really nice. Fresh fruit and structure. So many RdM's are glossy and modern, while this is more like a top Chianti, with rustic character. Okay, perhaps a bit less leathery and earthy than Chianti, but without sacrificing that character. This is excellent and the structure tells me it should improve with time in bottle. A splash of licorice concentration on the back end should resolve a bit with time and become even better.

Needed half an hour of air. Very light and elegant, silky mouthfeel. Dark cherry, subtle vanilla and baking spice with a savory note. Very enjoyable. So far I’ve had three very different 2019 Sangiovese and they have all been exceptional. This, a brancaia, which admittedly is a blend but was incredible, and a piancornello rosso di montalcino. Bodes well for the newly released 2019 brunellos I think.

Sangiovese 100% with 14% abv. This bottle is gorgeous. Candied berry and cherry, rose, violet, herbs. Good acidity and soft tannin. All elements are well balanced. Just like a masculine Pinot Noirs.

Ageing: 1y in big barrels.

One of my favorite producers. Juicy and immediate but has the stuffing to go on for years. Sunny but high altitude Sangiovese. Lifted dark cherry with just a touch of vanilla, some spices and a silky texture. Super classy and delicious with pretty much any food. I could drink this every day.

All class in a glass. If this is any indication of '19 Brunello, man, I think we're all in for a very special treat. In the meantime, if you can grab a bottle or 10 of these, do so. An impressive, savory Rosso you won't regret buying. 93+

Let me first start off by saying, I love, love this producer. My favorite. But I am a bit disappointed in this 19 Rosso. The quality is certainly there but comparing the 18 Rosso to the 19, I find this version "bigger". I wouldn't say more extracted, but heaver, missing the acidity, the crispness, lightness, the pure joy of the 18 Rosso. The alcohol is also higher in this 19, much higher. Which leads me to believe this 19 Rosso is a product of the vintage and hopefully not a stylistic change. 1/12

Very similar to my previous bottle, and to be honest one of the best Rosso's on the market. This has notes of dark plum, cherry, wild strawberries, tobacco and bay leaf. The palate is medium to full-bodied with juicy and ripe dark fruit, cacao, vanilla, refined chalky tannins, bright acidity along with a savoury undertone of black tea and spice with an elegant finish. This is a rockstar Rosso, and one I need more of.

I have not been this excited about a Rosso since Casanova do Neri. This showed notes of dark cherries, plums, black currents, liquorice, bay leaves and cedar. The palate felt both modern and rustic, with a certain creaminess along with spicy dark and juicy fruit, fresh herbs, bright acidity with fine chalky tannins. Mid-palate fills out quite nicely, There was real energy and persistence which lead to a lingering finish with a spicy kick.

Extremely vibrant, shimmering with strawberry, tar, leather and liquorice. A long finish that rings in the mouth long after. This doesn’t have loads of power, density or darker notes but instead offers a very pure offering of Sangiovese. Hugely refreshing and very moreish, this is excellent.

Amazing QPR! Bravo Lorenzo Magnelli... Off course I am super biased seeing that I import these wines in the Netherlands. But this is a Burgundy lovers Sangiovese! This 2019 is pretty fresh off the boat, but the nose is enticing and the taste is full of energy and provides great drinking pleasure already at this early stage.

Agree with other TNs. Definitely a step above many other RDMs. Aeration for an hour recommended today as the wine is still proving
Grade of A- today.

A very energetic and enjoyable young juicy sangiovese. Long aftertaste. Not powerful or dark. But very nice and pleasant. A lifted style.
