Strawberry, cranberry, cinnamon accents and more depth than three bottles of “normal” Rosé combined. This isn’t so much the hot summer day quaffer, but displays a more serious side that stands up to strongly flavored food (Indian kebabs and Matar Paneer).

Despite its strikingly bright translucent red color, this rendition is a little lighter in body than previous years, which actually suits my palate. There are some inviting floral notes on the nose, leading to plenty of ripe red fruit (think red cherries and wild strawberries) on the front of the palate, with just enough acidity to keep it light and lively on the back end. This is terrific on its own, but it's also a nice companion with lighter chicken or pasta dishes. It's a solid value for $26 and, as usual, I should've bought more.

Awfully good. Strawberry fruit punch, but there is a punch of salinity and acid that mark this as something to take notice of - not just a beach-drinker.

This is an examplary rose, probably the best I’ve had. Sure - it’s more of a light red than a rose, but the salty mineral character and strong acidity combine with crunchy watermelon and strawberry fruit accented by tarragon and mint notes for an incredibly long finish. Food friendly and quenching, but this needs time (still waiting for the day I try an Enfield wine where that’s not part of the note).

Strawberry festival in a glass, but more serious as well, as it’s 3/4 of the way to a red wine. Lovely to sip on a warm spring evening, but don’t mistake it for something to just pass off as an aperitif. There’s a lot of depth here.

So good, and still in top form a year after release. There’s really no need to hurry on these.

Strawberry, watermelon, saline. Not as vibrant as a bottle last year - seems like one to drink on release
