At a great spot now to consume more. Same notes as earlier just more approachable and not as young. Hope the window stays open for a few more years as I have 20 left lol
Good - not as fruity or tannened as I expect from big Napa cabs these days. A bit of complexity. Nice drinking wine. Not sure I’d pay 40 bucks for it again. Maybe it’ll age well for a few more years.

Consistent. It'd be tough to find a better 2016 Napa cabernet for the amazing WTSO price point of $20. 4 down, 2 to go...would love to acquire more as this would last for years as well.
A nose of dark fruits and spices, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, dark currants, licorice and spice on long finish, was very good. www.winelx.com

Fell in love with a 2005 bottle at the beginning of covid. So I got 24 when I saw in WTSO since I couldn’t find it anywhere else for a while
Dark violet color. Sweet plum bouquet. Decanted an hour…blew off the youngness. Fruity peppery boysenberries in the front with a hint of mocha cedar end. Moderate tanins that start to blow off with even more time. I think it’s early in drinking window if there at all. Just couldn’t wait to try it…
Winery when it finally went on line was $85 a bottle…at 19.99 this was a great deal. If I don’t finish the bottle myself I won’t really think twice. But it’s good enough that I’d be hard pressed to stop! Lol

#2 of 6. A solid representation of the vintage and region, and a great QOR from WTSO. I have my fingers crossed that the remaining bottles are not flawed and will let them spend some time maturing a bit more...

No Review... opened my last bottle (#3 of 4) and it was the most flawed of all the bottles. I can't help but think these got cooked while traveling across the US.
I updated my review of the one "decent" bottle I had as well. I decided it was also flawed, but just not as badly.
Much better then the two earlier bottles last night (both flawed 🤦🏼♂️). Tonight, after opening and seeing it was good, I decanted for ~2 hours, but even then, it continued to open up over the next 2+ hours of drinking. More time in the bottle would be good though.
Lots of deep dark black/blue fruit, plum, vanilla and oak with some acidity and tannins. Currently it’s a nice, quaffable wine, working best with food. No major liabilities, but nothing outstanding either. I’ve had some pretty exceptional wines lately, so my opinion may be colored by those bottles. I’d give this 89 Points, but that being said, for the price paid, this is still a Good QPR.

A hidden gem and amazing QPR. Same notes as before…I think his might still improve more over the next couple years. Give it 30 minutes after opening.

What DOCEMANN5 said in his 8/13/2021 notes. So rich, dark, wonderful. This is a multiple hour/long evening sipping wine.
