I hate writing notes like this but ... what a bunch of malarkey. The previous note that mentioned Dolcetto was dead on. This is a basic, village quaffing wine just like that. Attempts to attribute profundity or depth are simply the power of suggestion. Add to that people who confused oxidative notes with complexity.
To be clear, this is not a bad wine. It is just wholly fungible with nearly infinite other wines at the same price point and ambition. Chuck D said it best ...

Decanted- juicy, full of fruit and interest. Very dry, with an earthy savoury edge - but there is good blueberry and cherry fruit and a lovely complexity - earthy and floral on the nose with violets and lilac - dry, slightly herbal but with nice character on the palate. really nice with some left over lamb shanks and white beans.
After a few days in a half bottle - this really smoothed out and became almost plush, though still with a very dry finish. Really good - no danger of this wine cracking anytime soon.

Dense, some blueberry and non-mainstream cola. Dusty buckskin quartz impression, and once penetrated absolutely pleasant blueberry fruit loaded with tannins.

Did not give this the benefit of a decant - seemed pretty rough and ready, albeit with a very perfumed interesting nose. very floral over cherry fruit, palate is more rustic - slightly coarse, currant and dark cherry with a slightly odd green hint on the finish. Pretty interesting.

Quite possibly the most corked wine I've ever has - could smell it from a second after the pop and it was enough to turn my stomach. I've had bad luck with these, 2 out of 3 were "off".

Never had a 100% negrette wine before, interesting, reminded me of (but not duplicated) a dolcetto. Nice nose of spice, earth and flowers. On the palate, tangy iron and spice with a nice light mouthfeel; decent length. Brightly acidic.

Never had anything like this before. Deep plum verging on aubergine in color. Aromas of violet, plum blossom, and flowers with a touch of spice. Palate is spicy but low in tannins, with rich plum and sour cherry flavors. This needs 6-12 mos age of decanting to be at its best. Have with something aromatic, like Korean BBQ beef ribs.

Darker than I expected, with dark fruit, violet, a bit of bitterness and a surprisingly substantial finish. With an hour of decanting the wine softens significantly and the hint of bitterness is gone.

Dense, dark, spicy, chewy. Very goof. Try with pork & fruit stew.

Grapey and primitive, but in a fun way.
