Good flavor overall. Going to give it another go tomorrow. But not very aromatic on the nose an not very expressive on the palate. I’m hoping to it’s just needs some air and time to blossom. Only had one glass. 89-90 on day 1.
3 days later I revisited the wine. I pumped the air out of it on day 1. The wine is a lot better the nose isn’t very powerful but the taste has blended together well an is very drinkable compared to the initial opening. The taste lingers for about 45 seconds to a min. The tannins aren’t very strong anymore an the acidity is more mouth watering while the tannins attempt to keep the palate dry. Can have with or without food now but day one wasn’t as inviting or versatile. Pretty heavy on the alcohol an deep color staining dark burgundy paints my mouth an the Glass. I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t add dye to this blend. It’s heavy. This might even merit a 92 or higher but I’m a leave it at 91 to display what it was on the first day an what it is now.

Blue and black fruited, plush, easy drinker. I actually prefer this to the 2016 Napa cab I had previously. That said, I will likely seek out the ‘19 NV cab

Last of two and wish I had purchased more. Based on my first, recent tasting I would've liked to let this lay down for a few years, but consciously try to get rid of some singles based on the pending delivery list.
Starts off a bit heavy but lightens up with 30 minutes of air. Nicely balanced but not shy about dark fruit. Without looking at the bottle Id think this has a syrah component, but there's none in this 90% cab BDX blend (+ 5 cab franc, 4 merlot, 1 petit Verdot)
No rush on this at all and will sneak in a few more if the oppty arises!

First experience with this property. Extremely dark, purple/black appearance with tar, charcoal and heavily toasted oak on the nose. It’s youthful nose and appearance is much more approachable than expected as it’s not extracted or tight on the palate. I expect this would improve over the next year or three, and is a great value for the $35 on a discount site. ,
Tight on openings, needs to decant for a bit before drinking. Afterwards smooth tannins and a huge burs of red fruit. Extremely good for the price. The wine looks purple colored.
The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), raspberry and clove. The body is full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.

Deep ruby verging on purple. Blackberry, licorice, mint, black cherries on nose. Dry medium acid med-high tannin high alcohol. Palate has more black fruit and licorice. Leather and oak. Powerful and focused for this price. Slight bitter flavor on finish.

What a lovely P&P wine. Very enjoyable with a quick decant and over the next few hours. Smooth with initially dark fruit. Then some tannins emerge followed by a little raspberry and fleshy dusty characteristics. Great QPR. No long term cellaring necessary.

Even though the wine is young, it has a lot to offer. Great red and blue fruit with velvet tennis. Nice fresh acidity gives it a life for age. Get some while you can.

Awesome blend to end the wine evening. This ‘19 is a lot more juicer and approachable than the ‘18. Loads of berries and plums. Dark cherries. Soft oak, wild flowers and ripe tannins. Way to go AXR!

Crowd pleaser for sure with loads of dark brooding fruit. Blueberry compote. Chocolate and caramel, too. There was a slight harshness to the nose that and will see if I pick up on it on the other bottles in my cellar.

Crowd pleasing and drinks above its price. Pretty simple formula of blue/black fruit, cassis and oak pulled off cleanly will all elements in harmony. Drink now or over the next few years.

Decanted for 45 minutes. Deep cherry, good acid, tannins, and balance. Decent depth. Pretty good QPR ($33)
