Big but beautiful. Creme brûlée and pineapple but with a lemon zest zing. Nice acidity holds this big Cali style chard together. Pair with similarly big food or on it's own. Drinking nicely now- don't wait.

This is so big it is pushing into dessert territory, but it somehow manages to stay classy. Pineapple, lime, and custard are here, with some acid in the backbone. Really good if you like big California chardonnay.

Nose of buttery toast and honey. Pleasant taste of honey with well-balanced oak. Medium length finish of tart green apples makes this wine more complex than the first sip would suggest. I was not blown away by this wine however, and though it is pleasant and well-crafted, it is not one that I would go out of my way to purchase again.

Pale gold. Aromas of honey, tropical fruit, minerals, and a light, burgundy-esque smoky(?) note...reminded me of a nice Chassagne-Montrachet I had earlier this year. Low acidity. Medium-plus in the mouth with more tropical fruit, custard, and a mineral laden finish that also features lingering notes of kettle corn. Clearly outstanding and would work lovely as an accompaniment to some form of crab or lobster.

Nose: Big toasty nose with some butter traces and not much fruit. Palate: The big toast on the nose was evident on palate with traces of apple. While this wine shows the overly Malo characteristics of it's parent winery main offering, Kendall Jackson Chard, it does have some acid to keep it fairly lively, but overall it is "Big, slow and ponderous like some new language"...Jim Morrison, Texas Radio.

I've seen this wine described as a typical over-oaked California Chardonnay......NOT! Well balanced, dry but no alchohol apparrent, fruit forward and you almost get a sensation of some sweetness and the some essence of oak on the finish that compliments the initial fruit. Everything in perfect harmony. Everyone that had this with their turkey dinner LOVED it! I can vouch for this first hand as I had this with my Christmas turkey dinner.

Very good chard with decent acidity to keep the buttery flavor in check.

Love it. Loads of tropical fruit, vanilla, and toast, with some nice acidity (but not tons of it) on the finish. Very big.
