My first time trying this rare white grape varietal, indigenous to Greece. Plyto, grown on the isle of Crete.
While not intensely aromatic, on the palate this is a lovely wine. If you love mineral, lean and racy, then this might be for you. White peach with a hint of honey, yeasty and gravelly. High acidity keeps this fresh. The wine finishes with salty green olive.

Very pale lemon and with fresh, zesty lemon nose. The palate is with sour stone fruit with dried citrus notes too. No oak, just very clean and a perfect wine for a warm summer day. Only 12% ABV.

Light green-yellow. Modest nose of flint, some citrus and flowers. Apparently some aging on oak barrels for this one, but can hardly notice it. Full-bodied, fresh with ripe citrus and minerals. Good lenght. The old Plyto grape was apparently saved by the Lyrarakis-family. Great job! Chablis-like wine for shellfish.

Lovely light and mineral wine. $75 at Philotimo, what an awful restaurant.

Good. Has a nice citrus bitters on the end. Light body. Medium acids with a little quince. A bit light and a bit dopey in the middle.

Aroma av eplekart og syrlig gummigodteri. Sval og rund, hint av pære, med mineraler. Middels lang syrlig utgang.
