Big nose of pumpkin spice and fig precedes muted notes of cherry, black plum and blackberry. The finish is long. Let this one breathe for at least an hour.

I have gone through a case of this, and this bottle is the best one yet. Jammy, yet not overpowering. Blueberries, blackberries, currants, and a hint of caramel and cocoa.

At first a bit acidic but then it really opens up and shows itself. Great QPR. Tasted much better with food as this wine has good structure and isn't just a sweet, easy drinking sipping wine. Nose is a bit muted. Great weight/mouthfeel to the wine without being overextracted. Nice long finish. I can drink many glasses of this which speaks to the balance.

Wonderfully pronounced nose of ripe black fruits and vanilla with hints of mint and eucalyptus. The palette is medium to full bodied with delicious chewy blackcurrant fruits and a smooth finish. Very good.

(Tasted blind at a zin tasting; this was my second favorite of 15 similarly-priced wines. No official score, but at the tasting I felt it was 88-89.) Very little nose on this. Not a ton of flavor either, but it wasn't thin or insipid, and the flavor that was there was "real" fruit (not "fake") with some earthiness too. The texture was the best part, though: very soft and smooth. Very good overall.

Dark purple, lots of expressive fruit - jammy blackberry. Nice spice, good finish.

A bit of licorice and dark fruit. Very smooth but overall the flavors are a bit harsh. I feel like this needs food.
