After purchasing and enjoying a trial bottle at Costco, I returned and bought 2 more cases. At a $8 per bottle price point, this is by far the best value wine I have ever purchased at Costco. An excellent example of right bank Bordeaux wine. Medium bodied with a very nice fruit nose and earthy old world finish. Blackberry, cherry and some wood notes. I wish I would have bought more. Very tasty!

Nose: sweet cassis and wet soil with a touch of decay. Palate: well-balanced, plush cassis and mildly tart blackberry, gentle touch of woody oak and light cedar spice, lightly grainy tannins, and good acidity. Shockingly this was even more impressive than it was when I was camping with the home experience unveiling earth on the nose and wonderful fruit on the palate; this wine really does represent a truly incredible value.
Nose: pure cassis and dark plum with a hint of cigar box. Palate: mild blackberry and raspberry fruit, simple with a hint of cedar. I had this while camping so my notes are somewhat brief, but I do remember noting that for $8 this was incredibly good.

Deep ruby color and a bright bing cherry and raspberry nose. No apparent oak usage. A tad astringent but not a distraction . Medium bodied and a lively burst of fruit matching the aroma. An excellent value at $8 at Costco!

Very interesting. Acidity makes it bright. Not sure I’d peg it as a Bordeaux but dry and tasty. I think it would age well.

Pretty light, not too long, still enjoyable and quaffable.

Pure, fresh, and lifted. A wine of the earth, which pleasant fruitiness, fine structure and balance, and a solid finish. Excellent QPR.
