  • Served with the dessert course at the Cakebread wine dinner. This is a very young wine. They told us that it had been opened for a few hours, decanted for an hour or so and then poured back into the bottle. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was dark berries, plums, some dark cherry, tobacco and a touch of spice. The finish was moderate to long.
