Even better with some additional age. Decanted 30 min. Hard to believe this is not a Cali Pinot. Almost choke cherry and wild strawberry on the nose with a little stemminess. Fruit forward palate with slightly sweet cherries and some earth. Tangy finish - should hold nicely for a few more years. As stated by most, a QPR champ!

Decanted 45 minutes. Lively, pleasure PN with a fair amount of depth. Yes, a little fruit forward, and perhaps lacking complexity, but sure satisfied our drinkers - especially considering the QPR (thanks, Garagiste). Seems at peak - not sure this will improve much more

Pop and pour. My reactions on buying Garagiste mystery wines are always polarized: why didn't I buy more, or I can't believe this is what Rimmerman chose. This is, fortunately in the first camp. On the nose: pomegranate, wild strawberry, spice, vanilla, soft stemmy notes. On the palate: fantastic acidity, lovely density, wild strawberry, mulberry, lovely tang on the finish, which shows refined, velvety tannin. This is one of my first 2019 red burgs...hopefully they will all be this enjoyable!

Improved second night, and third night as well, from fine, to nice, to hm, that's actually pretty cool.

Pop and pour. Absolutely excellent for the pricepoint. Totally solid bourgogne rouge.

Crisp and fresh, a lot of cherry fruit
Solid, competent pinot. Enjoy now, and ignore the clumsy label

2nd bottle. Smell was nice but wife didn’t like the taste at all. Day 1– Too fruity. Day 2 — tastes like hotel wine.

Super sweet and tasted like a California pinot. Even at $21 I’ll pass.
I prefer my burgundies smelling of earth and manure with enough acidity to corrode your countertop.

A nice simple bottle of Pinot noir. Good value. A little sweeter than I expected, but at that price point I’ll take it.
