Opened, poured and let sit about 30 min. Then: Darkish-reddish fruit on the nose. Taste is red fruit; light-weight; good balance; tannin not an issue; acidity noticeable, but seems appropriate until the finish, when it may be a bit too much in evidence; shortish finish. A "small" wine, but tasty. Good QPR and good with food.

Drunk at Dave and Sheree McKean’s house in Vista watching the Super Bowl. Medium ruby, translucent. Good nose showing pretty fruit and earth. Decent mouth. 4-12-15-7: 88/100.

Acidic and dry, old-fashioned style of Sangiovese focusing primary elements of the grape. Which means good food-friendly wine needing food pairing too. Typical "dusty" tart cherry on the palate, nose surprisingly muted. As of 7/2023 the 2020 feels a bit unbalanced with its crude acidity and in phase to develop something which would be excellent offering for its price during the following years, when it could be 87-88. Drank on two nights, and the acidity didn't balance much on the second day either. I recommend trying 2024 onwards, but okay table wine now.

Medium ruby with medium intensity red fruit aromas. Dry, high acidity, medium tannin, medium body and high alcohol. Generic red fruit drowned out by the acidity leaving the offering a bit unbalanced. Longish finish despite the foregoing comments.

Clear pale/medium ruby; clean medium nose of plum jam, red cherries and cigar box; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of slight tar; medium plus finish; drink now; pretty basic and serviceable - not very interesting but what do you expect for the price point?; Velvet Devil is more approachable for the price

Flower Day - pop and poured - Tasted in a Pinot Noir glass. Nose showcases warm spice and red florals along with red fruit (cherry, pomegranate and cranberry). On the palate it’s quite smooth initially with red florals, red fruit, crunchy herbs and white pepper. There’s medium plus acidity and medium ripe tannins but the fruit overlays that making it a terrific food wine but also ripe and soft enough to sip by itself.

Ah, nicely Italian in smell, with some fruit but herb spice in there too. Refined and elegant, if a bit stiff. As Katie notes - allot wine for its price.

Sangio w/ Cab and Ciliegiolo. A wild ripe red berry fruit aroma. Pleasantly earth and mineral on the palate with light and fine, chalky tannin. Focused wine, not wildly complex, but I bet great with most anything for dinner.

Deep fruit. Hint of liquorice. Went great with spare ribs; would be great with itself. Just as good, if not better, than my bottle aged 2018.

Bright and fresh as the red wine goes. A little spice, a vibrant acidity, a lively freshness.
