Pretty, feminine, lean style of Chablis. 12.5%. Pale straw yellow in the glass. Not a huge amount on the nose, slightly muted at this stage: some lemon, a vague sweetness that’s slightly floral. In the mouth there’s lemon, sharp apple, maybe peach, grapefruity acidity, oyster shell, flint. Slightly saline. That thick seam of acidity with the minerality is lovely and there’s enough weight and body here to keep it interesting. Good village level Chablis in a classic style, reminiscent of a leaner Chablis from 20-30 years ago. Unoaked, matured in stainless steel. It doesn’t have the concentration of a PC but it’s a lovely wine for its level. Good with food too.

Nez subtile de fleurs blanches, de pommes avec une touche citronnée. En bouche, agrumes, bonne acidité et minéralité. Belle amplitude/longeur. À 12.5%, c'est un régal!

Drank as one of our Friendsgiving wines. Drinking very well at this stage. Unlikely to offer more with further aging but this is a classic base level Chablis that is elevated above most and an excellent QPR.

On the same night during dinner, drinked the 2019 and the 2020 back to back. Colored yellow, dense but still really clear. Nose is subtil, fine acidity. First taste you can feel the finesse of the wine. It’s light but with substance. Mineral, acid and you can still feel the fruit pretty well. On the 2019, you can have an bitter aftertaste. It’s not that bad, but the 3 of us tasting the wines had the same verdict: the 2020 was smoother and better, it’s a no brainer.
Still, two good wines and nice to be able to compared them back to back.

On nose: leesy, lots of chalk, some wet wool, subtle white flowers. On palate: good minerality, good acidity - lager notes. Want a little more creamy length from the lees. On blind tasting guessed it to be either Chablis or Gruner. (tasted/rated blind)

clean sweet tart nose, white flowers, ripe. So juicy, so ripe. Just enough acid to keep it from being flabby. More white flowers, pear and green apple and white peach. Starting to think I should’ve skipped the 2020 vintage, this is tasty but it doesn't have the acid+minerality I want from Chablis

PnP. Pale straw color. Apple, lemon citrus, crushed stone and flint, sea shell, saline. Pretty classic Chablis. The medium+ acidity adds to its crispness and leanness. Intense minerality in the finish.

I prefer to think of this wine as Gilbert Pig, a splendid Sus Domesticus that brings me much pleasure in life. This vintage I am not getting so much of the salt spray/sea-shell minerality, but there is some flint. I also taste some nice brioche fermentation notes and white peach. It is great value and a really appealing drink. I hogged this for myself and shared none with my best chum, for which I should be condemned. Can I plead the times and the tastiness of the wine, or is this plea in mitigation simply more evidence that I am a swine? Gilbert Pig understands me. Oink.
Third of four bottles, none of them right. Cork protruding again a little bit, and none of the corks were protruding when purchased. I think this is refermenting in bottle. There are odd notes of brown sugar and balsa/model wood. There is real and probably good Chablis underneath, not miss-able. But something is off with the group I bought.

Bu sur 3 jours. Est demeuré constant de l’ouverture à la fin. Fruits du vergers mûris à point, acidité légère à modérée, finale saline. Livre la marchandise à chaque millésime.

Aromas of sea shell, mineral, apple and saline. Flavors of mineral, apple, cracker, hint of pear and slate. Ends with a mineral driven finish of 20-25 seconds. Just a classic Chablis. Nice freshness.

Just a gorgeous afternoon summer sipper. This has a nice lemon, seashell, apple and slight spice profile that is light bodied and crisp. Just a bit of roundness, but this is all about the mineral refreshment you get from good Chablis

I think this bottle was compromised - the cork protruded a bit. It felt a bit too much on the butterscotch end of then spectrum and this was at odds with the sense that the wine has a lot of good young material and needs more time to unwind. I think this is probably very good. This bottle wasn’t.

Nice Chablis, fairly typical. Medium plus acidity. Dry. Paired nicely with shiitake mushrooms, rice and tofu at Carl and Swee Fong’s.

Intense minerality but also copious fruit; lemon is primary with a fine base of white fruit. A very good village Chablis.
