I don't normally drink a large quantity of white wine but a salmon meal tonight made me lean towards a white. This was a pleasant wine nicely balanced and smooth.

Really nice. Drank over two nights, lovely moderate full, nice citrus, lime, with delightful hints of apple, stone fruit, clean with enough acidity, kinda wanted roll it on the tongue. Sadly last of 8 was the best.

Pale yellow in color with subtle citrus aromas. Medium acidity and light to medium in body. On the palate, intense tart citrus flavors of lemon and lime. Long flavorfull finish that transformed into flavors of lemon rind. Too much tart citrus for my taste but good quality wine overall.

Drank over four hours, with a pairing of seared Ahi tuna in the middle. Smells of Sauvignon blanc from a mile away... what's certainly true is this wine is incredibly typical of the grape, but for me, not necessarily particularly of a place. That is, something like Sancerre is most certainly usually descriptive of the place Sancerre more so than it is the grape. For me, I'd have an easy time picking this as Sauvignon Blanc blind, but there's no way I'd be able to even call this Italy, let alone Collio. The palate has nice viscosity, a rather full body feel (like Fume Blanc, dare I say?), some light but noticeable acidity, and lots of meaty lemon rind flavors. Brighter lemon flavors on the finish, and the minerals leave you with the sensation of sucking on mental... a little bit bitter. The roundness is noted on the finish as well. For me, this is a pretty non-descript Sauvignon Blanc, and honestly, presents a bit more like what I don't like about the grape as opposed to what I do like (when it's from a place like Sancerre).

Northern Italian Sauv Blanc is probably my favorite style of the varietal. Nice acidity and typical fruit profile without any overwhelming bell pepper like many Loire wines. Great QPR as well.

Delicious for the structure as much as the flavor. To me, where some wines have electric zingy acid, this is every bit as lively, but as a vibrant buzzing acid. It’s more thirst-quenching than palate-shocking. Flavors of lime and other citrus are prominent, with tropical fruit, blossom, and herbaceousness in the background.

The 2020 Tiare is a lovely Sauvignon Blanc, but 2019 possessed more intense aromas, fruit flavors and zesty acidity (I rated 2019 at 95 points). Still, the 2020 Tiare is quite pleasant with balanced aromas and fruit flavors. Very pleasant finish.

Pale lemon in colour with minor petulance on the glass. Initial aromas were citrus & a somewhat green grassy fragrance a la Marlborough that blew off quite quickly to add a hint of floral & tropical fruit. On the palate, medium bodied citrus, lemon/lime, somewhat floral with high acidity & a long finish to minerality & spice. The profile on initial tasting is not complex, but the flavour is pleasant & the lively acidity is lovely!

I got a lot of tropical fruits like mango and coconut. Some white flowers and there’s a bitter edge on the finish. Not bad but unusual flavors for a Sauvignon Blanc.

Enjoyed over two nights, this was Very Good (*), but never really rang the bell. Nice mineral and acid cut, somewhat racy, with enough fruit to keep it nice to sip on its own. Glad I have the wine, but not particularly worth seeking out at circa $20 USD.

Very pleased with this one. Nice acidity up front, melony savor on the palate, chalk on the finish. Can be enjoyed without food, not that a pot of goat cheese would come amiss. Agree with prior comment, certainly more in the Sancerre direction than NZ. But the nearest comparison in my experience would be the Quivira Fig Tree S.B. from Dry Creek valley. Say -- no reason I can't try these twp together next week at a joint with cheap corkage!

Improved with air time, lemon, lime, citrus, a bit of mineral. Brightly crisp then settles down day 2, good balanced acidity. Still not quite getting the rave, sits somewhere towards Sancerre way more than NZ in profile, mineralty is subtle.

Well, this is something different! Just off six weeks at the Gulf eating seafood with various Sauvignons including Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, Quincy, one Quivira, and mostly New Zealand. Back home tonight, first taste of this Italian contender. Profile on both nose and palate unlike any of the others; impossible to guess the provenance. "Best in the world" at some international competition, they say. Well, it's got me intrigued. Will drink with dinner tonight, let the remainder coalesce in the fridge overnight, see what tomorrow brings, and report anything noteworthy. Apparently I bought a case, so maybe a long way to go between tonight and a final verdict. "Promising!"
Drank over two nights. Varied from prior bottle with greater sense of herb backdrop to go with lime, citrus, mineral elements. A bit less spritz and more along the lines of crisp acidity. Some richness here and overall preferred this rendition. Still thinking a bit of time will be good.

Drank over several nights. Improved with time and air. Initially quite spritzy with citrus, lime and mineral chalk undertones. The acidity was edgy and overshadowed the fruit. All this seemed to settle down and was more balanced, fuller, with air time. I'll be interested to try again in a couple of months.

Opened not decanted. Served on the warmer side but should be chilled. This was a Garagiste purchase as an everyday drinker and an alternative to a NZ SB. Sour attack of lemon, grapefruit, and lime mixture; crisp acidity; light to medium weight in body; ends with a sour finish with a tiny, tiny hint of sweetness. Good + Would buy again.

A big bump up in my impression vs. the previous bottle. Showing great varietal expression with texture. Nice. Drank well over two nights.
