Pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this wine. Paired with prime tri tip. I’ve had several bottles of Red Car Syrah, none have blown me away until this one. I’m a huge fan of their Pinots but will be calling to see if they have more of these ‘17s. Lighter Syrah on the spectrum but holds up to the tri tip. Very well balanced. Guessing it would be a crowd pleaser with bbq, etc., but I’m drinking this bottle myself. I’ve had their older Syrahs from their library. Based on those, I wouldn’t hold this much longer. Feels like it’s in its prime now.
