  • Roussanne driven...yet very minerally and slightly tart...still love the blend.

  • First bottle of this, from a batch purchased at the winery this past Summer. Chilled, PnP, drank with Val over 90 minutes.

Pale gold color. Perfumed nose of orchard fruits, baked apple, parrafin. Light palate repeating orchard fruit profile, creamy through back palate. Medium weight and finish.

Very nice wine, opened in the glass and improved over time we drank it. Will give next bottle more time to open. Unique blend, good on its own or as an aperitif.

  • Winemaker clearly had fun with this one given the use of six Rhône varietals, Brilliant light/medium yellow, nose is flinty with citrus and a hint of fruit, acidity is modest which our preference and rolls in mouth while being dry, pulled a little floral roundness with modestly spicy food,

  • Tasted after 30 minutes of air. Medium straw color. There is some weight to this wine. Medium plus body. Mango and orange here. Light floral notes. Medium acidity. Well balanced. Could use some time.

  • Starting to open after an hour. I would suggest holding these or giving a 90 minute decant. Nice floral notes. Some citrus and stone fruits. Excellent balance and depth. Should be another great wine from Tablas in a few years.

  • Pale lemon, with medium plus intensity, youthful, aromas of lemon, lime, hazelnut, pineapple, honey, and pear. This wine has medium alcohol and body with high acidity.
The palate matches the aromas with the lime and hazelnut predominating with a long finish that ends with honey. This is a very good wine. It should be drunk between now and 2027.

After two days, the aromas evolved to be primarily hazelnut, lemon, honey, and banana. The flavors evolve to melon, banana, and honey.

  • Mostly citrusy and minerally. Roussanne is not a good match for our taste buds.

  • An immediately appealing nose of poached pear and baked quince, vanilla custard and nutmeg spice. On the palate, lovely and long, with Roussanne-driven flavors of beeswax and preserved lemon, rounded out by just a hint of sweet oak. Fresh and lifted, but long and textured. A charming Esprit Blanc that will be hard to resist young but which should also do beautifully with time in the cellar. Drink over the next two decades.

  • Had 2x750mL as part of Friendsgiving dinner wine pairings. Decanted 2 hours. Deftly done and would hold its own in a blind tasting of many very good Chateaneuf du Pape Blancs that I have drunk over the years (but unfortunately not put many notes in CT for). Would benefit from another 3-4 years and ride and improve over another 5 I would bet. A distinct brioche and nuttiness are present and complement a solid but not bracing acidic spine and medium body. I felt as I had fallen into a bed of white flowers; like a drier Alsatian Gewurztraminer but without the perfumy spice notes. A touch of honey and a nice prolonged finish tailed this off.

I wish I had a half a case. In my opinion, a screaming value at $40 from what this is offering both now and over the next few years. Outclassed a young CdP Blanc I put beside it on this day by 2 points. Would be fascinating to see where this goes in the next few years.

  • Wonderful all around, amazing blend of 6 rhone whites, rousanne and grenach blanc dominant. Aromatic with notes of citrus, honey and light nuttiness, on the palette notes of lemon and zest, toasted brioche and lightly pungent. Great acidity, was relatively light and bright, light to mid on the palette with medium finish.
