Light straw, clear, muted lemon, tropical fruits, some minerality. The body shows the roundness of the semillon, with a bright finish and decent length. Nice wine; aromatics less pronounced than other vintages. That said I wish more west coast vintners made more of these white Bordeaux blends.

Dinner at home, Mill Valley, CA. From 750ml. Tasted at several points over the evening.
This is increasingly becoming my favorite of the Bedrock whites, so distinctive and rewarding. The 2020 is perhaps not the best vintage of this wine (understandable given the challenges), but it's still a pleasure on both intellectual and pure enjoyment levels.

First of the ‘20 vintage and I feel like this bottle had to be mislabeled. If tasting blind, I would have said New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. This was all cat pee and cut grass. I didn’t get any of the waxy lemon or citrus notes that I’ve come to love from this bottling over the years. Been buying since 2012 and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed in a bottle.

14.1% ABV Blend of Semillon from Monte Rosso Vineyard + Sauv Blanc from Bedrock, Judge & Uboldi vineyards for “brightness & aromatics”. Job well done. Really nice!

I could spend time describing the aromas and flavors of this wine, but for me it was all about the texture. Certainly it smelled good and the taste was delicious, but the supple, rich texture was enthralling. It was a weighted blanket on a cool winter night. All comfort. Utterly satisfying.

Nice tropical flavors with a full body which is reminiscent of a southern rhone blanc. Could use a touch more acidity. but overall well balanced Nice persistence. A subtle underripe stone supports the experience which is somewhat bitter.

Coravined a glass to try this out and see if it’s my style before ordering any 2021s.
Medium dark gold in color. Nose and palate are very tight on the PnP. 30ish minutes later, floral and spicy nose with some mango and grapefruit. A bit thick in the mouth, medium high acid, and overall waxy. Spiced grapefruits and mango with a decent herbal kick, beeswax, and a bunch of lighter minerals. Finish veers to stones and underripe stone fruits. My lips are left very waxy after several sips.
I know this is young and this is a wine that rewards patience. Not sure what I think about this after a glass.

Monte Rosso Semillon! 14.1% abv. Light straw, very aromatic. First sip is Gewürztraminer like. Lots of Christmas spice. Great mouthfeel, length and depth. I'd expect this to age very gracefully. Very unique and very delicious.

Waxy lemon notes on the nose. The palate has nice acidity, with lemon and saline notes. Medium-long finish. No hurry; probably has 5+ years left.

First of the season. Sweeter than normal. Still had depth. Going to wait on some of the others.
