Plum on the nose. On the palate, cherry, strawberry, and notes of bitter ash and savory herbs, with light tannins and strong acidity on the short finish. This was an average to below-average value at a little over $20.

grapey, with a heavy cola component, then calms down with dark stone, herb, black tea tannins and good acidity; plenty going on, but not as enjoyable as several other etna rossos that i have tried recently. might improve with time, but.... day two a hint of spritz, more cola and a bit of root beer; an outlier for sure; poured it down the sink

I don't know much about Graci but had a bottle of their rose last year at Il Posto Accento on the Lower East Side that would have been memorable even if we hadn't been sitting right next to Fran Lebowitz. We were socially distant so even if I had tried I would not have been able to eavesdrop on whatever else is wrong with NY. Not the meal or the wines, both of which were great, COVID or no.
This is the first Graci I've had since, and it's a peach. See-through cherry red, lifted nose with red berry fruit shot-through with volcanic mineral and gentle herbal undertones. Medium-bodied and quite taut right now, displaying classic nerello mascalese tension and what I'd try to describe as lava gravel berries in the way of a blind tasting tell.
Although labeled 14.5% it's quite graceful, not over-extracted or heavy/oaky as I sometimes find in Etna Rosso striving for attention on the international stage. In fact, I pretty much guzzled it which doesn't happen often when alcohol exceeds 14%. A good sign.

Nebbiolo like but more minerals on nose and palate. Medium bodied but light finish. Good table wine.

Etna rosso, quasi trasparente. Minerale, molto presenti le note di erbe aromatiche e salsedine. Tannino presente, ma vellutato.

Strawberry, herbs on the nose and palate - also a hint of ash, acidity and tannins well-balanced. Easy and enjoyable to drink. Love Graci wines!
