standard Napa cab, black currant and a bit of licorice. Good deep purple color. Can stand alone. Had with sausage (not spicy) and it worked. works for the price point

Very jammy and fruit forward. Strong flavors of artificial raspberry and blackberry. Was slightly better the following day. Food added some complexity to the wine.

Concentrated, deep ruby with fruit forward nose. Aromas of black cherry, bramble, and red plum with an earthy backbone. Roasted mushroom, damp soil, and lightly toasted cedar. Well balanced with elongated, chalky tannins. Finish has a bit more red fruit alongside vanilla, dark chocolate, and a hint of dried sage. Great QPR

Used in a beouf borgougne, but I had to taste. Not a juge cab-fan, but this was actually quite nice. Plenty of oak/vanilla to round it up. Smooth and delicate. Red ripe berries- plum.

Extremely full bodied and silky mouth feel. Lingering. With loads of chalky backbone to carry the wine. Not super complex. Loads of Blackcurrant. Like a berry compote. A bit warming. Alcohol comes through a bit at the end, but now in winter time its actually quite ok. A bit port feel to be honest. So not a complex wine but has enough layers, to keep it interesting, and the silkyness and smoothness is irresestible. Delicious wine that keeps things classy. Seducing Cabernet Sauvignon. 90

Plump and fruit forward, with enough structure to notes of cherries, camphor, licorice root, and cocoa powder. Develops a whiff of toasty complexity with air. Tasty.

Basically the same as my last note, absolutely a wonderful wine and a true example of the modern Napa style for $20 at costco. It would fit in just fine in a flight of wines a good deal more expensive, showing plenty of black fruit, gently cedary or even buttery oak tones, dense tannins that aren't overwhelming and more than enough acidity for what is generally a larger style wine. I'm rating it one point lower this time, the fruit itself suffered a little bit as I compared it to a Turnbull (Napa Valley cuvee) that I drank the previous day and over lunch, which of course showed a lot of really rich, ripe purple fruit. But this was no slouch, and I would say it represents better QPR, being less than half the price and showing a very similar profile, just a little smaller.

A very dark Cabernet, with a nose of dark fruit and oak. Bold flavors of plum, oak, blackberry, and cherry. Has good tannins and would be great with some steak or something to balance the boldness.

Just as good as my first time trying the 2018. This is just unbelievably fantastic for $20 at Costco- feels like a true Napa cabernet. Has that complete profile with the rich black cassis, buttery toasty oak that doesn't overwhelm the fruit, and an extremely deft touch of earthy tobacco or mint that never feels unnecessarily bitter or austere. Soft tannins, gentle structure but not at all flabby, same with the acidity which is maybe medium at best but more than energetic enough for the style. This is definitely not an "old school" Napa cabernet, but I wouldn't call it goofy or overextracted or anything like that either. The QPR is off the charts here in my opinion, and I would absolutely hide it in a flight of Napa twice the price.

Alltså, är ju egentligen lite för syltigt men funkade ändå ok till renfilé med rostad vitlökssky och chèvrecreme. Frun gillar det mer än jag...

Fairly typical Cali cab. If you like smooth oaky vanilla cabs, you'll like this. Can find same or better quality for less money though.

I’m not big on giving descriptive info on drinking wine. I just really like this wine and certainly would drink it again.

Heavy. A little cookie cutter. Low on the tannin and heavy on the anise, pepper and cherry

Disappointingly bland. Tastes artificial and has no depth. Luckily it wasn't too expensive, but it's still overpriced for what it is.

Dark, raspberry/blackberry notes, coffee grounds. Not an overwhelming flavor profile. It's a nice wine and a bargain at the price.

This bottle came off as a bit of an oak bomb. It was fine once paired with roast beef, and a red wine reduction.

Full bodied with lots of blackcurrant. Also notes of coffee and vanilla. A very reasonable price for a Napa cab.

Big dark fruit. Warm vanilla, smooth. Perhaps lacks a bit of sophistication where the American oak takes over.
