Yellow citrus and a whiff of soap on the nose. Explosive and invigorating on the palate althougg satisfaction curtailed by an overdose of sugar. 7g/L dosage which shows. Good as an aperif rather than a dinner table bottle for two.

3/22 disgorgement. Fussyeater's note below sums this up well. It's got an airy, floral quality to the palate, likely from the high PM percentage. I liked this well enough but didn't find it particularly compelling. For the cost, however, it's great.

50% Pinot Meunier 30% Chardonnay 20% PInot Noir. 70% 2018 30% 2016-2015. 7g/L dosage disgorged 07.22. Nose shows yellow fruits butter and green melon. Nice shape to the Champagne as it hits the midpalate with energy and persistence. Made in an easy to please style and remains balanced rather than tasting too sweet. From a bottle opened at home, and having tried others from the range last month, the entry level seems most convincing to my palate.

This was a nice champagne for the price. Medium bubble, no hard edges. I got a lot of apple and light toast initially but the apple faded and toasted note elevated. I’m not of apple in champagne but patience paid off in the end.
