Needs to develop for an hour. Light nose, scented with red fruit and black cherries, very elegant and a bit intoxicating. Light juicy red mouth, lovely fresh acidity, quiet sweet mouth, very smooth, some length. Really beautiful, just lacks the weight of a grander vineyard. Drink now.

Down to my last few of this. Previous bottles have been very light and a little lacking in depth, but have always shown the most wonderful purity of fresh perfect raspberry. The tannins have also been very fine and have been much akin to the slight tannic feel of a fresh raspberry too. This bottle showed a little more savoury quality but less of the fruit and the tannins seem to be a little more prominent and less buffered by fruit. Could it be closing down? or has it had it's day given the relative lack of structure? Only time will tell. I'll be keeping a couple back to see what happens, but certainly buying a fresh case of this now would seem to represent a bit of a gamble.

Though "just" a Bourgogne, I think this may not yet be ready. Muted on the nose, with a bit of cherry and earth. A little more forward on the palate, but still shy on fruit and the tannis are just slightly coarse. All this said, it's a fairly sophisticated, subtle wine, with a nice texture. But--call me shallow--I need a little more flash/surface appeal and this is just too short on depth and length.

Surprisingly lively, good acidity and delightful perfume. Probably at its apex now but certainly doesn't feel like it is on a downward slope.

Ageing piercing fruit, quite tart, but still robust. A jumble of fruits rather than complexity. Drink soon with food. Needs an hour or two to open up
