  • Recently we've been getting some critique for our low scores. Please know our range is lower than most folks...reader beware. We liked this wine. After having it opened for over an hour, we found that there was a bit of sour...maybe a little bitter up front, that then revealed some cabernet-ness afterwords on the mid palate. Lovely on the nose... floral, some spice... finish was mid range as well. Went really well with a reverse seared ribeye steak...made the wine a bit peppery...as well as with a raw kale salad with pine nuts and peccorino romano-based dressing...went well with the toasted pine nuts and garlic cheese combo, in particular

  • i think this wine needs time to breathe...there are some big grapes in there. Really liked this. night 1: i tried it with smoked lamb loin chops. this wine was so big it made the lamb disappear. put a vacuum cork on it. didn't touch it night 2, Night 3: ate it with a reverse seared bbq ribeye steak. That's the ticket. Peppery up front...a hint of sour on the backbeat.

  • We liked this wine. Thought it would be bigger than it was...whatever that means. A good Sunday - Thursday wine. Went well with a spicy cauliflower rice dish. it made both the food and the wine better. A little magic!
