  • Deep, opaque red. Nose of cedar with some of the herbaceousness that one often finds in Coombsville Cabs, especially when they're harvested before they get too ripe. Full blackberry/cabernet flavors with sufficient but not overwhelming tannins. Already quite well balanced and a delight to drink — if you can take the tannins — but should improve for another 15-20 years. Not your usual over-ripe, over-oaked, over-alcoholed Napa Valley Cab. Great restraint and yet great power. Classic!
