Aug 2019, my favorite vineyard visit thus far in life. Took a swim in the cove after the tasting too. This rosé is unique, a pleasure to drink, and underpriced.

This is delicious; second time having this wine and I've loved it both times. Complex and lovely nose with melon, sea breeze, peach, orange blossom, and citrus zest. The palate is juicy and fresh with great vibrancy and lovely intensity. Certainly reminiscent of the seaside. This could begin to compete with Tempier for rose spots in my cellar.

Whoa. A blast of sea salt and acid so intense that it can’t even be called “a food wine”. Light fruit flavors - think Rainier cherries and those white strawberries (“pineberries”) and pink grapefruit and a hefty squeeze of lemon. A thrilling wine that makes you believe you actually should be sipping it on a terrace overlooking a vineyard overlooking the Mediterranean.

In a lineup of ‘21 southern French roses, this one tasted like pink lemonade. Among Clos Ste Magdeleine roses, my personal preference is for the Cotes-de-Provence, for its slightly less acidic green melon notes.

Easily one of the top 3 rosé I have tasted, this is pure, fresh yet with wonderful elegance and depth. A Blend of Grenache(45%), Cinsault(40%) and Mourvèdre(10%). Notes of bright red fruits, tons of fresh roses, mediterranean herbs, seat salt, white pepper and crushed spice. The palate is elegant and graceful with crushed roses dominating the palate along with soft red fruit and a slight saltiness on the mid palate which also shows depth. The finish is long, with touches of salinity.

Hard to imagine a better, fuller, more luxurious rose. Great balance and complexity, fabulous aroma and none of the bitterness of lesser rosés.

Delicious as remembered! Drink with burrata on a nice spring evening. So balanced with great lively acidity, complex, and a lovely salinity.
