  • [Synthetic cork] I think I underestimated this wine in my last tasting... (17/10/2008)... or maybe this is a better bottle. A couple hours of decant and the black cherry and tilled soil aromas are oozing out the glass. Tannins are firm, and acidity spot on... the earthy berries do an extended dance on the palette before fading out slowly into a smoky glow. Easily goes toe to toe with the rich roast duck we're eating. I eagerly await the next bottle!

  • [Synthetic cork] Wow... very impressive BC pinot. Nice medium toned brick red with purple edges. Blackberries, dark cherries, freshly tilled soil, almost a slight spiciness on the finish. Considerable depth and complexity, with firm and well structured tannins. Drinking well now, but likely to continue improving for a few years yet.
