An elegant, bright and vibrant version. Perfectly ripe, briary fruits still have some crunch. There are lavender and Provence herb notes. It has flesh and moderate chew from savoury tannins. Sealed under screwcap and quite delicious.

brvino Wine Tasting #2 - Côtes du Rhône (blind) (brvino Undergraduate Wine Club at UCLA): Much darker colour than the first wine. On the nose, it feels more ripe and Syrah dominated? There is tobacco, liquorice and cassis. Very distant raspberry. Some baking spices. On the palate, it’s medium bodied with medium+ tannin. There are cherries and a little bit of guelder rose with black pepper. Finish is tannic turning acidic. 6/18

Noticeably more acid and pepper and less extract than the 2020 vintage. Not as fruity or concentrated, but still nice with some elegance, making it pair well with lighter food.

Similar experience to the review by Oropeza. Blueberry and black fruits, herbs, earth. The body has a little bit of weight and structure for a $12 wine. Would buy again. Also used to braise short ribs.

Blue and black fruit, herbs and earth on the core, a little pop of acidity on the finish. Good structure throughout. This checks all the boxes and is great for the price... yum!

Pairs well with Swedish fish and Oreo cookies. Slightly tannic, better with food. Nice strawberry/dark fruit. Mineral finish. Would purchase again.

As aperitif - too viscous. With spicy pizza - very nice!
