Made from grapes with minimum of 30 years of age (some suggestions show 40years)
Clear yellow with faint golden shade. Drank over two days with significant improvement on the second day which suggest an optimal drinking window in 3-5 years.
On the initial day citrusy and lemony notes dominate the nose and palate with a strong acidic back bone and a very faint spritz. Stone fruit pits and grapey notes add some complexity on the second day. There is a good amount of minerality present albeit it never reaches a dominant position. High quality Alvarinho.
Thanks to Francisco from Garrafeira de Santos (Lisbon) for the recommendation

Clear yellow/green. Very bright and fresh, with loads of lemon/citrus notes, pleasant salinity, and a slight, restrained, musk like character in the background. Fresh and clean on the palate, with cleansing acidity. Very drinkable now as an aperitif style or with seafood say or Asian dishes, but I predict the ability to age and improve for some time.

Very fresh. Big on the nose. Saline with a touch of seasalt, peach, grass, hay, apple. Good on stuff, serve ice cold.

This was really nice. Pear is the most obvious note, but also peaches and citrus. Fresh acidity. Very good quality for the price. Fresh.

Pale lemon.
Medium plus intensity on the nose with ripe pear, apple, peach, apricot, lemon, grapefruit, melon, lemon, wet stone, bread. Youthful.
Pronounced and dry on the palate. High acidity, medium body, medium alcohol, long finish.
Can drink now but has potential for aging. Lovely Alvarinho!
