What the core wine drinking experience should be. This tastes good, has depth and excellent balance and doesn't coat your mouth with tannins. Held well over three nights under pump.

Absolutely knock out nose with a wide spectrum of berries and peaches. Just fun to swirl all day. Lighter in weight compared to other Carlisles but focused and precise. Delicious. 93-94

Wine Rating Methodology 96-100: One of the most enjoyable wines I have ever tasted. I would not hesitate to open this wine for any Master of Wine. 91-95: Extremely enjoyable wine that I would drink and buy again. Fantastic to open up for those who appreciate wine. 85-90: Decent to good wine. Weekday bottle you don’t feel guilty about not finishing. Below 85: would not drink or buy again. ***Price of wine vs. enjoyment (value) is taken into consideration ***I do not provide tasting notes as everyone’s palate is different, and will have a different experience.

Coravin by the glass. Nose of blackberry, black cherry, orange peel, bramble and spice. Red and black fruit, orange peel, Zin spice and bramble on the palate. Long finish. Medium to full bodied. Served with cheese pizza.

Just tasted this bottle a few months ago and my opinions are unchanged if not reinforced. An excellent Zinfandel with excellent balance and complexity.

PnP. Nose of deep dark red fruit and oak barrel. Rich red raspberry ripples across the tongue with tension and energy. Soft tannins, red fruits, acidity, light slice, and light oak provide a medium length finish. Enjoyable wine to drink, if not particularly complex.

At first pop and pour. Then decanted for 24 hours. It was good at both stages! Better after a day breathing. Bright red fruits, loooong finish, little bit of a bight, tannins are young. Delicious now but better in 2-3 years.

This glides with utter ease. Red fruit bowl, with ripe nectarines and some polished stone, this sails on for well over a minute. There’s a richness and poise, yet this is feminine. The acidity is at the optimal level and the middle palate is lush. So inviting, yet time will only help this harmonize a little more. Wait a year and follow for at least a decade. Drink 2024 - 2035.

Beautifully complex zin. Rich bright and deep red fruit with floral notes and a nice white pepper zing.

Nice medium bodied wine with fresh fruit, red and darker, good balance and handdles the 15% alcohol well without any heat. Pleasant drink.

Mancini delivers again in 2020. My favorite. Bright clean red fruit, nice acid, structure. Perfect.

Typical Carlisle. A bit more red fruited than dark.
