  • Drank over two days. Had tasted this at DuMOL prior. Drank alongside a 2018 Hirsch East Ridge.

Overall this is not in a style that I'm in love with. One the nose there's a bit of an oaky sweetness. On the palate this oakiness comes through but without showing the sweetness present on the nose. Good body, relatively well integrated tannins. Some plummy cherry fruit but not much. Probably needs time but generally I don't think this is made in a style that I like particularly.

  • Wow, this wine is just delicious. Classic Sonoma Pinot taste runs the gamut on flavors that kept evolving. Really upfront on palat with good acidity and big blue and red fruit. It is just jam packed with flavor. Finish is long with subtle tannin day one but evened out next day. I thought it would be closed or tight but fine to drink now, but think can still improve especially on the finish and will try and hang on to my others.
