Popped and poured; enjoyed over a 90 minute period. No formal notes. The 2020 is an elegant Etna Rosso that wins you over with its beauty. The fruit is fresh and juicy and there are some lovely minerals. Balanced. Good structure. Not the most complex but it’s super easy to like and versatile enough for a variety of meals. Huge value. Drink now.

Over two nights. PnP. A light ruby red. The intense fresh red fruit-driven nose, light notes of vanilla and sweet spice. Juicy red fruit and minerals on the palate. Light-to medium body, with drying tannins and nice acidity. Long dry finish. Pleasurable and refreshing Etna Rosso.

A bit more tannic and less interesting than the 19 to my taste. Perhaps it just needs some bottle time to unfurl, but the graphite nose and mineral palate are satisfying nonetheless. Good qpr.

red berries (sour cherry, cranberry, red currant), hint of herbs & spice. slight mineral, nice high acid. fruit a bit muted at first, improves with aeration. Slightly preferred this over 2019 vintage.

Very interesting wine that was my first introduction to the Etna Rosso AOC. Drinks easily by itself, although providing some complexity. I will definitely seek out more wines from that AOC. I'd give it a 89+, as it is in the top end of the spectrum of a very good wine.

Light in body as expected, however there was an unpleasant bitter note on the finish, even with plenty of air time.

Hög, lite spretig syra och måttligt höga tanniner. Mycket bär och örter. Något återhållet. Gott men inget supervin.

Still young, needs a year or so to soften and open up.
