  • This is a fascinating wine from an equally fascinating place. High acidity and minerality. Light bodied with subtle notes of pine, salt, and a hint of white pepper. I feel like I am looking up at Mont Blanc.

  • Tart, white orchard fruit on the nose (especially apple and pear) along with nice minerality. Between light and medium bodied (12% ABV) with white apple and pear the dominant fruit notes for now, but hint through the middle suggest additional complexity to come. The acidity and tart notes on the back provide excellent structure as well as contrast. Balance between fruit and structure is also a plus. The mineral qualities and acidity through the finish make this wine feel pure , well defined and lively. This is a unique wine that really calls out its geographic origin. I'll open my next bottle in July 2024 and look to purchase a few more.

  • What a delicious and fascinating wine. We started off a refrigerator temperature and it grew apparent that this was way to cold. Next time I am going with slightly chilled below cellar temp. It has a delicate nose and a definite lemon and saline fruit that warmed into a touch of butterscotch near the end. A wonderful treat.

  • -When you're planning your next trip to summit Mont Blanc, do yourself a favor and visit some local wineries, especially with Ermes Pavese. With vineyards perched at 1200 meters above sea level, they are some of the highest in Europe! This Blanc de Morgex is a wine that is so scrumptious with its structured minerality, vivacious acidity, white pepper aromatics, and it's incredible story. We love this wine for grilled veggies, pork chops, and you guessed it, anything with Fontina cheese.
-One of the most distinct white wines in Northern Italy, maybe all of Italy. From the far NW corner this wine is as much Swiss and French as Italian, but it's really none of the above. Mineral and textured with Alpine meadow flowers and grass.

  • A little bit more salty on the nose than in pervious vintages maybe? And then crisp and brilliant on the palate. So lively, so fun.

  • Ok, my first introduction to this wine, truly blind lol. Seems very Arneis-y, quite crisp, fresh, flavorful, high acid, not overly complex but plenty of interest. There’s some nice salinity, a little hint of mouthwatering tartness, easy to pick up and gulp another sip. I could drink glasses of this on a nice balcony with a view somewhere, on a warm, comfortable day.

  • Tim's. Highly aromatic and therefore surprisingly dry on the palate, Sauvignon Blanc-ish but more salinity. Turns out to be Petite Arvine, third of the night and all so different. Excellent. And worth owning just to admire the complex artwork on the label.

  • First time I’ve tried the new vintage. Crisp, sea breeze scent on the nose, with nice saline notes on the palate. One of my favorite Italian whites - if it was easier to find, I would drink it a lot more often.

  • Mistakenly entered as vintage 2021. The wine was vintage 2019 - and the note now appears there.
