Fuller in body than I expected, with a touch of residual sweetness. Quite a lot of lemony acidity, pear, and peach. A bit less food-friendly than I would have hoped, but well-made and I imagine it being a great patio sipper.

This is very Trimbach! My second from this producer of a different grape variety and sophistication but very noticeably of the same brand.
Grapefruit and lyche on the nose, quite sweet but not overpowering. On the palate there is a lab acidic but sweet fruit - much more grapefruit, lemon and lyche. Obviously less complex than the Frederic Emile but lots of similar notes coming through. Best described as a toned down FE? Slight mouth coating and decent finish - a syrupy mouthfeel with a tart bite at the end. Best with food as it packs a punch of flavour that doesn’t make for easy every day drinking.
