Lemon and lime juice and zest, liquid limestone, sea salt, iodine, and lemon verbena notes make for a vibrant showing. Not as beefy as Valmurs of the past, the 2021 vintage makes for a more honed expression of the site. Signature Droin creaminess on the finish is an interesting juxtaposition from the citrus spray notes. A solid 2021 Chablis. Drinking great now already.
A very citrus nose combined with notes of smoky mineral and seaspray. The palate is deep, rich and pulpy. There's pith lemon, cut by a big squeeze of grapefruit. It has real weight, texture and presence and great drive to the finish. Its all here, it just needs time to stretch out.

tasted at the domaine; this is absolutely classic Chablis for me; sea breeze, iodine, citrus zest, green apple, super mineral driven; impressively intense and classy on the palate with a long driven finish; textbook and one of my favorites of the tasting
