    from 7.5 ha Sounth-West/South-East facing vineyards in Monleale and
    Colli Tortonesi at 250 m with clay/limestone soil and vines planted 5000/ha.
    Manual harvest at end of September.
    3-day cold maceration in steel tanks followed by a static decantation.
    25-day spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks at 17° C.
    Refined in steel for 10 months plus 7 months in bottle.
    14% Abv.

    Background: Established by Bartolomeo Borgogno in 1761.
    Cesare Borgogno took charge in 1920. Renamed Giacomo Borgogno & Figli in 1967.
    Passed on to niece, Ida Boschis with her husband Franco and then
    two sons, Cesare and Giorgio.
    Acquired by the Farinetti family in 2008.

    A(ccuracy)=2: Bright med gold/yellow. Glycerously fragrant varietal.
    B(alance)=2: Ripe fruit with adequate structure.
    C(omplexity)=2: Peach, pear, ripe citrus, herbs, cream.
    D(epth)=2: Suave mouthfeel. Full palate and finish.
