Light straw color, smooth and well balanced. Not too bright and easy to drink. Taste hints of pineapple, with Lychee and honey/honeysuckle in the finish. Will buy again.

A stunning, rich, vibrant, robust wine that fills your mouth with flavors of stone fruit, off-tart citrus, lychee, and a mild, sweet, floral scent. So well done by Ridge.

Clear light yellow. Medium intense nose, lots of green apple and lemon, a bit of smoke and some reduction. There is some oak here but in the most beautiful way. Dry spicy, pear, apple and lemon flavours and a nice dry slightly oaky finish.

Napa 2023: the quieter version; 2/6/2023-2/11/2023 (Napa/Sonoma California): Interesting and lovely starter. Officially this is because they ran out of the Chardonnay but I like to believe it’s because they remember that I don’t like Chardonnay :-). There’s a bit of sour here, some pineapple, more exotic fruits. Creamy mouthful. 60% American oak and 40% steel with a blend of 76% Grenache Blanc and 24% Picpoul. The Picpoul is more in the steel and oak is more of the Grenache Blanc. Very aromatic wine especially as it opens up. Some more floral notes. Interesting wine.

Seemed to be a bit sweeter than I remember, but still very good. Served at a dinner party with Middle Eastern food and was a crowd-pleaser.

Excellent. Nice acidity. Lightly oaked. Delightful combination of Grenache Blanc and Picpoul.

A little more lemony and tart than the 2020, but still very good. Perfect for an afternoon on the pontoon boat with a cheese and veggie plate.

Light straw color, nice acidity, touch of lime, citrus, hint of pineapple and mineral on the finish, a lingering of honeysuckle.
