Medium very clear crimson-ruby color. Intense purple fruit notes with a little pulp on the nose. Similar tasting notes with plums, dark chocolate, laced with red berries and endowed with a remarkably silken texture.

Nice black and red layers of fruit- blackberry, cherry, boysenberry pie, black currant. Variety of spice including nutmeg, chocolate, black pepper, anise, vanilla, cedar and a hint of lavender and forest floor. Balanced and nicely structured wine with medium tannins and long, fruity finish.

From magnum. Black cherry, spice, and a little dried leaf/forest floor note trying to come through. Pretty solid for the price but far from epic. I feel like the ground floor of what Pinot really has to offer. It was more true to the varietal characteristics of Pinot Noir than past vintages but still just ok.

Not quite ready and definitely not PNP at this time. Full bodied and somewhat unbalanced and angular. A good bit a tannin which was not expected for this wine. Cherries, raspberries, and vanilla.

A light red. Fruity aromas, red cherry, sour cherry, also dark chocolate. Good acidity, but not much grip. Tastes overripe, with toast on the finish. I can’t make out what’s on the front—spices, nutmeg? Opens up to some nice tannins.

Tasted from wine list at Firefly Grill, Effingham, IL Dark ruby colored, medium-full bodied, aromatic, complex full flavors of black cherry with notes of toast, caramel, milk chocolate and hints of cola, toffee, spice and licorice.
Another HUGE wine, mouth-filling and powerful. Unlike previous vintages, 2021 tastes like Pinot Noir. We loved this. The only hesitation is the price... hard to pay $45. We bought this by the case at $28 for two years at Wine Wave in Delray Beach, and just bought a case at that price through Vivino, thank you Cellar Tracker.

Ripe ruby in color. Acid is medium high, tannins medium, alcohol medium high, off dry.
On the nose cherries, black berries, vanilla, and oak.
On the palate, ripe strawberries, raspberries, black berries, cassis, vanilla, bramble and French oak.

Big wine, was disappointed it wasn’t more fruit-forward. Hyperdecanted half.
