This had a green character I found distracting--it brought to mind mustard seed and tarragon a bit. Nice, dry Chenin other than that personal quibble. I would be surprised if it were underripe fruit incorporated seeing as it reached 13,7% ABV. Not really sure what to expect from vines this old!

Made from chenin blanc. Light golden colour. Ripe yellow fruits w chamomile flowers. Very refreshing w. sharp acidity that cuts throught the 13.7 ABV. Very fruit-driven but also hints of ginger. Good length. Best with food.
