At 35k feet courtesy of BA en route LHR > Chennai. Freshly opened bottle. Albeit not a natural fit for our palate these new world Pinots , this however and especially at this young and bright age was very much an exception. Maybe is the altitude ( who knows) or the fact that this seems to be from a cooler climate vineyard , it was a restrained and not confectionery or over spiced . In fact was very much welcoming in an old world style . Good 90 and we feel better younger than older.
