  • Another fine wine from Alto Piemonte, this one on 100% Vespolina. Being related to Nebbiolo, it has some of the same characteristics (tannic) but perhaps more acidity and more bitter, and less inner sweetness of the fruit. Cherry, raspberry, lemon, dried flowers and lettuce. A nice wine for the 14-15 euro, but not a great overachiever as some wines from AP and Carema can be. Should be food friendly with your typical "primi" dishes.
