  • Brought this to a restaurant, and regrettably I did not decant it before I left home, so therefore a lot of sediments. And the flavors and mouth feeling were affected by this with some rustique tannins. Brown and unclear. Sweet aromas with tar, teak oil and tea among others. Fruity, concentrated and extremely intense and acidic, which almost killed the Cos 82 that followed.

  • Decanted three times, 2-3 hours before drinking. Brown! Sweet aromas with tar, teak oil and tea among others. Fruity, concentrated and intense. Lost some power after a couple of hours in the glass, but the wine is definitely in good shape for the age. More feminine than some old Barolo's I have tasted.
