I found this a Pretty solid wine, but nothing fabulous. Nice balance. Good body and tannin, but not overly oaky. It was actually a little lighter bodied than expected. Very clean finish, but also not very complex. A solid wine.

Thursday Night 5 for $5 (The Grapevine - Pocatello, ID): Dark ruby color with moderate nose of dark fruit, cedar, spice, oak, plum and some barnyard. Not hiding heat well. Medium heavy body with fresh acid, medium soft tannins and moderate palate of dark fruit, and wood. Long finish. Good balance and fruit.

Drinking really well. Ripe ref fruit is complimented nicely by mineralogy and a touch of pyrazinic pepper. Still has decent acidity.

Dark purple; vanilla and cedar. Reasonably complex and is coming into its own. A very nice Sonoma Cab for the price.

Appropriately dark. Plum and cherry nose. Cherry and vanilla on the palate. Tannins are soft. It is a very well constructed Sonoma Cab.

Not a big nose. Tasted of vanila cherry (like cherry cola) early then more cab like cherry. Moderate structure.

Tasted blind. Peppery nose. More pepper on the palate and a pleasant light fruit taste.
