So far I'm very impressed with most Bordeaux 2022 I have tasted, especially the wines from Margaux. They have kept their elegant signum but with more concentration.

Bordeaux 2022 en Primeur and some recent vintages: Another step forward to the already good 2019 is the 2022. The wine impresses with floral notes and a velvety palate. An well priced wine to drink early while waiting for the others. 93-94

Bordeaux 2022 barrel tasting event (Papiersaal Sihlcity, Zürich): Main takeaways: 1/ Despite a considerable amount of hype, this came across as bi-polar vintage with for every insanely good wine at least one dead-on-arrival counterpart. 2/ High alcohol levels, over-extraction and cooked fruit appear to be common pitfalls. 3/ Top wines were 1. Figeac (98), 2. Brane Cantenac (97), 3. Les Carmes Haut Brion (96). Full list of 20 wines and scores in included in the tasting story.
Tasting note: Ripe fruit of red cherry, dried herbs and mineral notes initially provide for an average but ok impression. But the palate follows up with overly cooked fruit and a lack of balance.

En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Two (Bordeaux): slightly dusty baked black currant, sweet spice, a little plum and brambles in the background. Medium plus intensity acidity, dense, chewy tannins swamp the mid palate in a slightly bolshy fashion, dark hued fruits fight back, slight non-intrusive alcohol warmth lends fatness on the finish. Hmm.

Bordeaux 2022 barrel samples and some additional vintages (Solliden in Stockhom): Very similar taste as the 2019 but the 2022 is more powerful.
