  • Brilliant nose at the opening. Fill the bowl with sweet red-black berry. Multi-layer of luxurious white flower. Like butter coated lily scent.

The palate confirm the beautiful nose aroma. Very sweet taste confirm the nose previously detect on the bouquet. Vivid acidity concealed under buttery coating taste. Tannin is so fine, almost powdery. Long, long ectastic finish.

  • Tasted at Cristom Winery tasting room. The vineyard is the highest on the estate with iron influence from the Van Duzer Corridor winds. Fermented 40% whole cluster and aged 11 months in 30% new French oak barrels. Very minerally with medium+ to high acidity. Red cherry and strawberry fruit notes abound with some baking spice and good structure for aging. Very long finish. Nice now but some cellaring will make for even more complexity down the road. This wine just has a lot of charm.
