This wine is evolving very well. Nose is soft, mouth has better feel over time and the tannins are loosening up with good acidity to back up. very enjoyable bottle.

Another dud. Opened a bottle of Artesa Cab to test against. Artesa won hands down. Wanted to at least drink L'Argenteyre as I cooked dinner, but couldn't even stomach it in this duty. Poured down the sink. Life IS too short to drink bad wine. Cheers all.....

Tried again to enjoy this wine. No success. Thin, bitter, and with a metallic aftertaste. Had to throw away 3/4 of the bottle. Since others have given this wine an impressive rating (91), I must assume that Lionstone of Sonoma is sending out bad wine. Very disappointed with the quality of the wines being distributed under the Wall Street Journal franchise. Will keep trying to find a good bottle from WSJ.....

Ripe aromas, and a very concentrated and full palate. Rather open at this point, a little monolithic, but has everything here. Shows the ripe tannins of the vintage and this is made in a serious style, which surprised me. Drink or hold. Day 2, very simple but still going strong.

Just under € 10, 16.6 points in Decanter, 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot. Combines ripeness and structure, closed and tight but good future, very good for what it is, opens up beautifully in the decanter, a very complete wine, excellent QPR. Drink from 2010.

Decanted for an hour and a half. With rare roast beef. Decent but had hoped for more from what Decanter called "a very good wine"
