A considerable disappointment for a 10 year old Barolo. Brick color. Little to no sediment. Decanted for an hour before drinking. Even as the wine continued to open up in the glass over time, there was little to no improvement. Empty in the middle of the tongue and a sharp tang at the finish. I was embarrassed as we were opening this for an event celebration and the wine did not come through...even with veal scallopini, with whole wheat angel hair and marinara.
