DnP. Dark garnet red, yellow rim, 6. Ripe spicy bouquet, eucalyptus, rubber, dad red fruits. Intense harmonious palate, much fruit, tannin, long finish. Drink now or wait.

Intense dark inky black with crimson hue, plenty of spice on the nose, with blackberry, vanilla and a touch of floral. It has a savoury, meaty character on palate, textural mouthfeel with black fruits, oak, spice and coffee. Medium+ finish with fine and mouth coating tannins. Pretty nice wine but still not good enough to impress me.

Not bad. We were eating fried chicken and wanted a red wine. Decided the viognier might add some acidity to cut through the fat from the chicken. It actually worked pretty well in that regard.
It's a nice wine, but for the price, there's much better available. Not worth the $

nose: sumptuous nose of black berries, coffee, blueberries, black currant, smoked wood notes, and even some bacon fat and floral tones. Not a fruit bomb at all, but still very aromatic and deep
taste: very weighty on the palate with black berries, smoked game notes, bacon fat, black currant, and dark spice notes
overall: this is outstanding. Wonderful feel on the palate that is also very filling. It hits all parts of the palate and leaves a very long finish of blackberry and black currant. Very dark in the fruit, and very tasty

Made from 95% Shiraz and 5% Viognier (sourced from Breakneck Creek, Penny's Hill, Piebald Gully and Gateway) this wine is co-fermented. In the glass it was deep purple, almost black, in colour with Ruby edges. A meaty nose with mainly savoury aromas such. The palate showed juicy plums, currants, cedar and spice. Nice, but perhaps a little over cooked.

A bit sharp at this stage, probably to do with the 15% alc. I'm going to leave for a couple of more years before trying again. [screwcap, 15% alc]

Lovely color, beautiful nose with ripe, ripe fruit. Unfortunately falls short on palate - with a short finish
